The Wildcard of Christianity

I had a few meetings to attend this week and in one business meeting they discussed dealing with problem customers. It was during this meeting that the Lord impressed upon me what He wanted me to share in the message. As I sat in this group, we all watched as two actors did a skit where a cashier dealt with an unruly customer who had not paid their bill. As these two people interacted back and forth it was somewhat like watching a tennis match. One person would fire off an insult and the other would volley back. Salzburger Raisin Bread

Ingredients 1 1/2 cups milk 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened 1/2 cup sugar 2 teaspoons salt 2 Tbsps dry yeast 1 teaspoon sugar 1 cup warm water 2 eggs, beaten 7 to 8 cups all-purpose flour, divided 2 1/2 cups raisins 1/4 cup all-purpose flour Butter or margarine, melted Preparation Scald milk; remove from heat, and add butter, 1/2 cup sugar, and salt, stirring well. The Conditions of Unconditional Love

    There often seems to be a false belief that the Bible is full of contradictions. There are some doctrines that are taught as absolute while other people have the opposite view and both seem to have scripture to back it up. For example, one side teaches once saved always saved while the other side teaches that someone can lose salvation. Both individuals have their favorite verses to show that they are right. Let me say, as a long time student of the Bible that the first thing you need to do is accept that the Bible is completely true. Dealing with Depression

I get a lot of letters asking me to speak on certain subjects. Lately, depression has been a topic that a lot of people are struggling with. While I often give intriguing titles to the message I hope this one is just to the point. I don’t want anyone to miss reading it that needs help. Depression can strike anyone. We do know that certain personality types suffer more with it than others. For instance, some people seem to never have a care in the world while others seem to be attacked daily.
