Early Morning Praise Report

It is 6:47am and Andy has already left for work. I have a load of clothes going so I can get them out before the heat gets here. Our rooster is crowing – he is reminding me that the day has already started. My grocery list is ready for the outing to Heflin where I will run some errands and spend some time having lunch with Andy :) Today’s to-do’s: Bible reading, Laundry, Chickens, bedroom, clean up my sewing area, diapers, wash the refrigerator, clean out the cabinet above the washer…..

In this early morning, the quietest part of the day, I am running though all of my blessings! The thankfulness in my heart for the Savior caring enough for me that all my needs are met! We have a home, cars, food, clothing, Andy has a job, we have enough money to pay the bills and get what we need. We also have a little one on the way. So many times, we forget to stop and thank the Lord for all of His blessings. I don’t mean the “quick” blessings, like him saving us from the almost car accident or the getting my fingers mashed in the door… I mean the little ones like waking up and having a clean glass of water to drink. How often we forget these small showers of blessings. Yesterday, just as Andy was due home, I walked outside and noticed a few water drops on the steps. Confused, I looked around and suddenly realized – it was starting to rain! After almost 4 weeks, it was raining! It only rained for 5 minutes, but it was enough because God had sent it! We get stuck in our daily routine sometimes: waking up, going to work, doing your house chores; how often do you thank God for His blessings? He didn’t have to give us clothes that needed to be washed, or a refrigerator that needing wiping out. He didn’t have to give us a glass to drink out of, but He did!

I want to give a Early Morning Praise Report from Heflin, AL!!! This morning I am so overwhelmed by all the little blessing that God has seen fit to pour out over me! He has blessed me with a good husband, a house, chores, and little house spiders that keep my on my toes! I can’t praise Him enough for all that He has done in my life. I am amazed when I look over the years I have lived this life and see His hand in everything! How did I get here today? By God’s goodness and mercy! Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow!

I want to encourage you this day, to get out your Bible and read it looking for something to change in your life! If you aren’t being blessed, than you need to figure out why! We will never grow as Servants of God unless we daily seek for His Will! The only way to become closer to God, is to constantly change. Have you been growing or has your growth spurt been stunted? Has it been more than a few minutes that you thanked God for something? Have you even thought about Him today? What is your reason for being on this earth today?

Praise God from whom all Blessing flow

Praise Him all creatures here below,

Praise Him above ye Heavenly host,

Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost!!!

"Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God." Philippians 1:27-28
